The Silver Darling is owned and run by notable Frenchman Didier Dejean, with his menus consisting largely of local fish with a French, Mediterranean and occasional Far East twist.

Situated on a prime spot next to Aberdeen’s harbour, you can watch ships, dolphins, seals, fishing boats, and beautiful sunsets while dining. The dining room is a huge, raised conservatory on the flat roof of an old granite custom house providing spectacular views over Aberdeen harbour and bay.

Opened in June 1986, the Silver Darling is one of the few restaurants to have been recommended in the Good Food Guide for more than 22 years, as well as being recommended in the Michelin Guide and in the Egon Ronay.
